Three days after screaming at her fellow ABC co-hosts to shut up and get behind President Joe Biden because he’s “the candidate” for Democrats, staunchly racist and anti-Semitic co-host Sunny Hostin (the descendant of slave owners) was so disturbed by the special counsel’s report about Biden’s failing mental faculties that she hatched a plot to have Democrats ditch him at the convention and install California Governor Gavin Newsom in his place.
Following two segments of discussion about the report and Biden’s embarrassing press conference about his mental acuity, Hostin announced “there is an off-ramp here” that they “need to think about” going forward: “Once all of the delegates are received, the DNC will be certifying the delegates, right? And the count and Gavin Newsom can be swapped out

You can only ditch him if he’s willing to go. By most accounts this past weekend, Biden’s doubling down. He supposedly went into a profanity laced tirade with his staff and made it clear he has no intention of stepping down.
They CAN remove him via the 25th Amendment if they want, but that’s a big step that I’m not sure they’re willing to take. Beyond that, they could have challenged him in the primary if they hadn’t waited so long. So it looks like they’re stuck with him. Good. The left created him. Now they can own him.
We’re all so used to the Democrats being unified that, the way they stick together and circle the wagons has become well known and legendary. And it’s mostly true. That’s why the Robert Hur report is so unusual. It appears that there’s a major internal power struggle within the Democrat party - one that they haven’t been able resolve behind closed doors. The fact that Merrick Garland allowed such an inflammatory report to be released means it was done intentionally. Garland just does what he’s told, so someone above him clearly gave him his orders.
Who is it then, that makes up these two factions? That’s an open question, but clearly the power struggle is real. On one side you have people who want Biden, out and on the other, people who want him to stay in the race. I suspect that the career consultant class and party apparatchiks want Biden out. They can see how unpopular he’s becoming and are seriously concerned that they won’t be able to cheat their way to a victory. On the other side? I suspect China, and all their bought and paid for American bureaucrats and politicians. I don’t know with any certainty that this is the case, but it makes the most sense to me. China, it would seem, wants Biden to remain in office for some reason and they’re using their agents in the Biden administration to get into his ear and convince him to stay in office.
