Since all my dogs have been rescues, I don’t change their names. I don’t want them to be traumatised! LOL!

I was told to change rescue’s names. New beginnings.
My friend had a problem dog. He kept the original name til was suggested that he be given a new name.
With the name change, the dog’s character changed to better. Weird.

Some pets don't mind having a new name.

The first cat that my kiddo got was a rescue and was given a new name. The cat didn't seem to mind and DID come when called the new name.

Maybe dogs are different...I don't know.
