I can see your point, but they wanted the land line to keep
a wired land-line option.
Just another cheap cell-phone does not provide that option.
I understand what they want, but if the arguement is a landline service in order to call emergency, then give them a basic cellphone that allows for that.
In California with the natural disasters and high cost of labor, fixing damaged phone lines has to be costly. So AT&T has a point. Plus the selling point to the government is….. “everyone get tracked”.
Cell service is iffy where I live in rural Nevada.
HAVE HAD A LAND LINE SINCE 1958.
Have paid my bill faithfully.
Get a printout of my calls so I can keep rack of clients for my bookkeeping service.
I DO NOT want a CELL PHONE. I do not need to KEEP UPGRADING MY PHONES DUE TO “MORE “G’s”.
The only constant in my life has been a LAND LINE.
Have had over 20 years to have made that choice.
