These idiots are so concerned about the borders of other nations while purposely leaving ours open and preventing anyone else from changing it.
Only 5 billion requested for a border wall, denied.
But now well over 150 billion for Ukraine.
But they said we didn’t have 5 billion for the wall.

The requirement was funding to stop the border crisis or nothing for other countries.

Here is the real issue. The EU forced 50 billion euros into Ukraine and provided no details because they dared not. The Hungary PM Orban released some details.

That 50b is over 4 years divided equally. The Ukraine government requires about one and a half b per month to operate, but the really critical thing is the IMF loans in place have to be serviced and they’re going to eat up more than the remainder of that annual chunk. In other words, the EU did what they did to Greece in 2013. They forced loans to be accepted knowing that almost all of that loan would do nothing more than service pre-existing loans, and thereby allow the IMF to continue to say it has never had a default.

So they’re going to play this game and say well we offered you border money and you refused it. I suspect the GOP Senators will hold firm on this. McConnell probably cares more about Ukraine than the border, but there may not be the 9 votes for cloture — and Sinema might say no, too.

Last I heard, spending bills HAD to originate in the house. The Speaker needs to pimp slap McConnell.

Send the money to the Marines. They can use it to hire more female officers.

So all our govt ought to cost is $63B.

$53B for the Corps and maybe $10B for chuckholes and picking up blown truck tires and dead animals off the roads.

Someone needs to remind them that the federal government is $34 trillion in debt.

Sisyphus Miotch would rather let this boulder roll back over him than permit TrumpII to dictate terms in approximately 1 year from now. Go into the light, Miotch LOFL!

Ukraine will receive MORE money than we spend on the US Marines in a year in this ‘launder the cash’ boondoggle.

AND we give them weapons...

and their population is much smaller than ours.

And they’re barely holding their own. And the country is NOT a democracy. And no, Russia would NOT go after other countries after this fiasco.

If we had intelligent members of the press one of them could do the math on this corruption ... and expose the ‘elites’ benefiting.

Can someone please explain to me again the objectives of funding Ukraine? Is it to help the people of Ukraine and win THEIR war? Or, is it to help bankrupt the people of the USA? Or is it both? If its to help Ukraine...I’m sorry but it is obviously NOT working. Is it to keep someone in Ukraine happy so that they keep from ratting out hunter/the Big Guy/Obama from their misadventures back in 2014+ ?

Actually this is the way it should be. Don’t hold the border funding hostage to Ukraine funding. Sounds like The House is where Ukraine funding will be DOA.
