He never WAS an objective reporter. At best, he was a quasi-journalist; but a very entertaining TV presenter. When all is said and done, a journalist strives to entertain (and if he or she can sneak in some agenda, that’s just lagniappe).

Entertain is exactly what a journalist must NOT prioritize. If he does he's no better than Oprah or Kim Kardashian. This is what's been wrong with network news for decades. That and the practice of paying glamorous news readers like star athletes. Don't tell me that Tucker isn't anticipating a nice bump to his income from this. Would he have done it for free? Doubt it. He's been prancing about Moscow like a movie star posing on the red carpet at the Academy Awards for what..2 or 3 days now? Everything a good marketing guy would have him do, I'll grant you.
