Republican presidential candidate former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley attacked rival President Donald Trump in a surprise appearance during the ‘cold open’ of Saturday Night Live last night. Haley, who is trailing Trump by nearly 30 points in the latest poll for this month’s South Carolina primary and nearly 60 points in national polls, was well received by the liberal New York City television studio audience as she sparred with a Trump character during a candidate forum opening skit.
The cold open was a mock CNN South Carolina town hall with Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, being baited with questions about Taylor Swift and mocking Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) for his endorsement of Trump. The lines given to ‘Trump’ to read were typical smears by SNL, leaning heavily on ‘sexism’.
Haley stood up in the town hall audience to ask Trump why he won’t debate her. Haley followed by needling Trump, saying he “might need a mental competency test,” tweaking him about the $83 million E. Jean Carroll verdict, asking if he needs to borrow money, Trump’s age and asking him about losing his home state New York in elections.
SNL gave Haley the debate with Trump she has been craving in exchange for her trashing Trump to the show’s liberal audience.

Haley’s campaign posted a clip of her appearance on X Twitter with a caption riffing on an exchange about the Sixth Sense movie mentioned in the cold open by ‘Trump’: ““I see dead people.”

I’m guessing that it’s a tasteless comment on Trump’s age and Biden’s age.
Way to go, Haley. You won’t win over a single member of the SNL audience. But you will offend older voters.

People that are eighty years old have an almost 40% chance of dying in the next four years. This is based on the Social Security statistics.
Of course there are a lot of factors involved here.
But, the chances of both Trump AND Biden living four more years is really not something I would bet the farm on.
Vivek had her number - she’s a corrupt fraud.
Both have real time access to top of the line medical care.
I like their chances.
Two average folks their age, not so much.
Just lost any respect I had for previous service.

SNL is a liberal platform although it sometimes skewers liberals if the temptation is too great. Nimratta consistently sidles up to liberal, neocons and all enemies of freedom for Americans.
If I were an artist I would create a meme of Nimratta the snake, dripping venom and attacking the unwary from cover.
Sometimes the top health care just allows you to die in a nicer place. When the artery pops…in anyone…the best health care isn’t going to fix you.

I can’t believe you said that, especially lumping Trump in there with Biden. So who would you rather see in the White House in 2024?
If Nikki is elected, I see dead people: Ukraine, Israel, Yemen, Taiwan, Mexico, USA...
