Imagine how hard life was when you had to get off the sofa just to change the TV channel.

“Imagine how hard life was when you had to get off the sofa just to change the TV channel.”

Really. We trudged through a quarter acre of shag carpet just to change to ABC, NBC, or CBS. It took forEVer!

Life was seemingly better before spending money on allowing depravity into one’s family room.

One man with a high school degree could get a job and work hard.
He could get merit based promotions and pay.
He could have a wife, two kids and a dog on just his salary/pay.

Now, a new truck costs more than most here paid for their first house.

Wage increases have not remotely kept up with cost of living increases.

The point of this article is to make every young person look like this goofy broad and get older people angry at her laziness. It’s merely a distraction from the degradation of our society.

Imagine how hard life was when you had to get off the sofa just to change the TV channel.

And then you had to fiddle with the knobs and the rabbit ears to get the picture better. Exhausting.

Up hills, both ways. My kids couldn't wrap their heads around having to do that.

I’m convinced that’s why my parents had me. So I could be the remote

We had little brothers for that, and adjusting the rabbit ears.

And then hit the TV so that the reception would stabilize.
