I have a hard time coming up with any sympathy for anyone who got even the first booster.
I can feel sympathy for people who were snookered into the first round, mainly because if I don’t feel sympathy for them I’d have write off 2/3 of the population. Besides for a fair number, it was that or lose a job that provides health insurance for a wife with Lupus.
But the 1/3 who went beyond the first round and took boosters and weren’t forced to do so because they weren’t in a prison or a group home for adults with autism or some such, my give-a-f*ck meter is a bit worn out.
I don’t disagree. 1/3 of my team took it only because of the treat of loss of job. 1/3 took it because they were told it would help. 1.e we’re willing to be fired. I don’t have an issue with anyone personal choice. I do feel bad fot the ones that took it under treat of administrative action of loss of job. I always figured they could take it then I would not have and my organization competitors let me know, job tomorrow, approved exemption and a signing bonus. Maybe I should have just left. I wanted them to fire me over it. Alas they backed down.
My team does anywhere from 35-75million in business. The work would go with me. However, I stayed because of those who worked for me were standing tall. So I stood tall with them. Damn if I give a crap about business goals now. Jab that in your arm.
