A little over a year ago, a RedState exclusive investigation into spending at the Republican National Committee revealed that millions of donor dollars were spent on things like floral arrangements, private jets, limousines, tickets to Broadway shows, high-end retail stores, and more.
As I wrote then, frugality has long been a conservative principle, even at the RNC.
Back in 2010, RNC Chair Michael Steele was heavily criticized and eventually lost his position because donors were angry about what they believed was luxurious spending on private jets, floral arrangements, chauffeur services, and member meetings in expensive tropical locales. Donors were used to frugality from the RNC under the George W. Bush administration, when “Karl Rove would bitch if there were flowers on the tables” and staff holiday parties were catered by Chick-fil-A.
In light of reports that the RNC had a cash shortage heading into a critical election year (which was described as a "revenue problem") and that the RNC executive board voted to authorize a $10 million line of credit in its 2024 budget, RedState analyzed expenditures recorded by the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) since the December 2022 story to see where the money is going.
In addition, several categories of RNC spending were compared to spending by the Democratic National Committee during the same time frame. The chart below shows total spending and spending in these categories by the RNC and the DNC between October 20, 2022 and November 30, 2023.

Trump lost a lot of points with me for supporting her.
But but but the flower arrangements were for the fairy metrosexuals so that they wouldn’t feel left out.
IF the rnc calls for donations, I will tell them “Nope! Not after it has been discovered that you are spending the $$ on useless crap like flowers instead of pouring the money into races that desperately need donations to beat their liberal opponents! Never again! “
Maybe she’ll go to jail...where she can really show off all of her ill gotten ‘earnings’. 😏
Will this finally persuade Trump to get rid of her? I know he highly prizes loyalty to himself, but, at some point, he has to realize that she didn’t produce the red wave that looked like a sure thing and is just pouring money down the drain.
Excellent breakdown. $263K for limos?, a million for ‘management consulting’ about 1/20th as much for GOTV texting... but hey, they’ve got plenty of ‘office supplies’...

Trump lost a lot of points with me for supporting her.
As Bannon just reminded ... it’s the flipping RNC Board Members, that are the problem....requires ⅔ vote, by them, to oust her.
Heck....I’d love to see the books on how much these board members might be grifting/getting, for these absurd Ronna Fees. 😡
Age old conundrum: Do you want to look good, or do you want to be good. The dems are always focused on 2 things, winning and transfer of wealth from those who create it to themselves. The RNC must believe that just throwing money around is all that’s needed to succeed.
Michael Steele is a up town bling type of guy styling is his gig never let him near the till.
Pretty damning if accurate.
FIRE HER RINO ASS !
Is this for REAL? OMG!! No WONDER WE ARE LOSERS !
A reminder of how it works:
The chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC) is chosen as follows:
1. Election by RNC members: The chairman of the RNC is elected by the members of the Republican National Committee. The committee consists of representatives from each state and territory, including the national committeeman and committeewoman from each state, as well as representatives from the national party organizations.
2. Timing of the election: The election for the RNC chairman typically takes place during the RNC’s annual winter meeting, which is held in January or February of the year following a presidential election. However, the specific date and timing can vary.
3. Candidates and nomination: Any RNC member is eligible to run for the position of chairman. Interested candidates typically announce their intentions to run, and then nominations are made during the meeting.
4. Voting process: The election is conducted through a voting process among the RNC members. The specific voting procedure may vary, but it generally involves a series of rounds in which members indicate their preferred candidate. If no candidate receives a majority of the votes in the first round, subsequent rounds may be held until a candidate achieves a majority.
Not only does Ronna need to be forced out, it needs to be done yesterday. Her replacement needs to be better that her and Michael Steele.
Shocking. Heads need to roll.
Haven’t given them a DIME in 30+ years, now.
Charlie Kirk did a joint podcast with Steve Bannon yesterday on this, it epitomizes how crooked, thievery behavior has turned into incompetency for the GOPe the past couple decades. There was a lot positive things Kirk is doing too so it’s worth a listen. The dems smash to pieces the fake republicans in metrics and one wonders why many conservatives stay home, choosing the lesser of evils GOPe at the voting booth is no longer an option for many.
What the RNC should be doing is producing generic commercials about the border, economy etc. Fund raise off these with the promise of not giving out your phone #. Let Americans see video of the onslaught at the border as they are watching Taylor Swift on TV. God knows the media never shows it.
Wow. The RNC must employ a lot of relatives.
