Hungary should seize Ukraine’s westernmost region of Transcarpathia if the country ceases to exist as a result of its conflict with Russia, right-wing lawmaker Laszlo Toroczkai has proposed. The leader of the ‘Our Homeland Movement’ was referring to the territory that was once a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and fell under Soviet control after World War II.

Transcarpathia remained a part of modern Ukraine after the dissolution of the USSR in 1991, retaining a considerable minority of ethnic Hungarians. Budapest has repeatedly criticized Kiev over alleged discrimination against this ethnic group, especially over access to education in their native language.

Fellow right-wingers from several other European nations, including a representative of the Alternative for Germany (AFD) party, reportedly greeted Toroczkai’s suggestion with applause.

Meanwhile, Romania’s Antena 3 CNN TV channel reported that Claudiu Tarziu, a lawmaker from the right-wing Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) party, had recently also called for the annexation of part of Ukraine.

“We are at a crossroads… We will not be truly sovereign until we reintegrate the Romanian state within its natural borders,” he reportedly stated.

“Northern Bucovina cannot be forgotten! Southern Bessarabia cannot be forgotten… everything that was and is of the Romanian nation must return to the borders of the same state,” the politician allegedly asserted, referring to the Ukrainian region and to Moldova.

Back in September 2022, former Romanian Foreign Minister Andrei Marga, too, claimed that “Ukraine exists within unnatural borders.” The ex-minister suggested at the time that Kiev “should cede Transcarpathia to Hungary, Galicia to Poland, Bukovina to Romania, Donbass and Crimea to Russia.

Ukraine is home to around 150,000 ethnic Romanians and more than 250,000 Moldovans.

Since the start of the conflict between Kiev and Moscow, several Russian politicians have claimed that neighboring countries, including Poland, have plans to annex parts of Ukraine.

I totally agree. Texas is not trying to leave the Union. Instead, Texas is just trying to protect itself. It’s a public order thing. If nothing else, the Tenth Amendment gives them that right.

No matter. The monster known as the Federal Government wants to have the final say in everything. As I noted earlier, provoke them and General Sherman shows up. Could be a military thing. Could be the FBI. Could be a bunch of EPA inspectors.

a new constitution written by modern day twits would be a nightmare to live under. It would be better to have a collapse, followed by a civil war, then a re-establishment of the constitution as it was.

We, his majesty’s most loyal subjects, the delegates of the several colonies of New-Hampshire, Massachusetts-Bay, Rhode-Island, Connecticut, New-York, New-Jersey, Pennsylvania, the three lower counties of Newcastle, Kent and Sussex on Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North-Carolina, and South-Carolina, deputed to represent them in a continental Congress, held in the city of Philadelphia, on the 5th day of September, 1774, avowing our allegiance to his majesty, our affection and regard for our fellow-subjects in Great-Britain and elsewhere, affected with the deepest anxiety, and most alarming apprehensions, at those grievances and distresses, with which his Majesty’s American subjects are oppressed; and having taken under our most serious deliberation, the state of the whole continent, find, that the present unhappy situation of our affairs is occasioned by a ruinous system of colony administration....

To obtain redress of these grievances, which threaten destruction to the lives liberty, and property of his majesty’s subjects, in North-America, we are of opinion, that a non-importation, non-consumption, and non-exportation agreement, faithfully adhered to, will prove the most speedy, effectual, and peaceable measure: And, therefore, we do, for ourselves, and the inhabitants of the several colonies, whom we represent, firmly agree and associate, under the sacred ties of virtue, honour and love of our country, as follows:

1. That from and after the first day of December next, we will not import, into British America, from Great-Britain or Ireland, any goods, wares, or merchandise whatsoever, or from any other place, any such goods, wares, or merchandise, as shall have been exported from Great-Britain or Ireland; nor will we, after that day, import any East-India tea from any part of the world; nor any molasses, syrups, paneles, coffee, or pimento, from the British plantations or from Dominica; nor wines from Madeira, or the Western Islands; nor foreign indigo.

2. We will neither import nor purchase, any slave imported after the first day of December next; after which time, we will wholly discontinue the slave trade, and will neither be concerned in it ourselves, nor will we hire our vessels, nor sell our commodities or manufactures to those who are concerned in it.

3. As a non-consumption agreement, strictly adhered to, will be an effectual security for the observation of the non-importation, we, as above, solemnly agree and associate, that from this day, we will not purchase or use any tea, imported on account of the East-India company, or any on which a duty bath been or shall be paid; and from and after the first day of March next, we will not purchase or use any East-India tea whatever; nor will we, nor shall any person for or under us, purchase or use any of those goods, wares, or merchandise, we have agreed not to import, which we shall know, or have cause to suspect, were imported after the first day of December, except such as come under the rules and directions of the tenth article hereafter mentioned.

4. The earnest desire we have not to injure our fellow-subjects in Great-Britain, Ireland, or the West-Indies, induces us to suspend a non-exportation, until the tenth day of September, 1775; at which time, if the said acts and parts of acts of the British parliament herein after mentioned, ate not repealed, we will not directly or indirectly, export any merchandise or commodity whatsoever to Great-Britain, Ireland, or the West-Indies, except rice to Europe.

5. Such as are merchants, and use the British and Irish trade, will give orders, as soon as possible, to their factors, agents and correspondents, in Great-Britain and Ireland, not to ship any goods to them, on any pretence whatsoever, as they cannot be received in America; and if any merchant, residing in Great-Britain or Ireland, shall directly or indirectly ship any goods, wares or merchandize, for America, in order to break the said non-importation agreement, or in any manner contravene the same, on such unworthy conduct being well attested, it ought to be made public; and, on the same being so done, we will not, from thenceforth, have any commercial connexion with such merchant.

6. That such as are owners of vessels will give positive orders to their captains, or masters, not to receive on board their vessels any goods prohibited by the said non-importation agreement, on pain of immediate dismission from their service....

Since you support sovereignty for Texas how about supporting sovereignty for Ukraine?

You have very narrow mind- just because I post articles does not mean I support the jnformation. The articles I post generally indicate trends, cycles, likely outcomes.

As for Ukraine, it was a no brainer from day one:
- severely corrupted, in bed with Biden.
-Ukraine drowning in child trafficking, sex trafficking, bribery, embezzlement, etc..
- their financial system is married to their corrupted government.
- at war since 2014, bombing the ethnic Russian provinces.
- many Neo Nazis in society and government, take a walk through any eastern Ukie city and just count all the statues and streets named after Bandera.

….I can go on, but it is just an observation from someone who has been to both countries.

Negotiations between the UK Government and representatives of Sinn Féin had begun on 11 October 1921 in an attempt to answer what was known as the “Irish Question” once and for all. The talks followed decades of attempts by the UK Parliament to give a degree of autonomy known as “Home Rule” to Ireland.

What states could do is to limit new house size to say no more than 1600 square feet (and 2500 square feet on parcels of more than an acre). This would curtail invader employment and hit remittances hard.

It could all be done in the name of ‘affordable housing’.

Remittances could also be taxed to fund K-12 education.

Not a myth but it changed after the Civil War when Texas was conquered and occupied by Union troops. The state constitution changed after the Civil War.

So no, Texas cannot voluntarily leave the Union.
