I’ve had navy people tell me of people “Lost at sea,” Army people tell me of officers “fraged”.
Can’t remember any problems in the USAF. If there were we did not hear about them.

Sounds like SHE was trying to make a reputation as a Captain Bligh on his way home from Tahiti.

The USAF is fundamentally different in that (broadly speaking) all the fighting is done by officers. Yes, I'm aware that there will be enlisted pararescue, combat controllers, etc., on or behind enemy lines, but traditionally, the tip of the spear in the USAF has been commissioned pilots with very few E1-E9s engaged in direct combat.
