Hey. Depending on court outcome, it’s a relevant question. The 14th amendment says nothing about conviction when discussing who can’t run. That to me is then a court decision. Regarding felons, there’s a strong belief around these parts that felons should be ineligible to vote. Should felons be allowed to seek elective office if they should be ineligible to vote?

You seem confused about the actual state of "the law" in the Banana Republic of America.

First, we aren’t a banana republic. If so, it would have been under Trump too. Because the same “system” existed then. Second, you’re divorcing yourself from the rule of law. Third it seems in your view the only legitimate outcome is if it meets your view. Doesn’t work that way.

You seem to be a never trumper. “Dem?” I don’t know. I honestly don’t know what happened between Trump and Carroll, but I believe that Biden is worse. Carroll didn’t know the year but a NY jury found Trump liable anyway.
Frankly, for the good if the country both should step aside and let fresh blood in. But for some reason the bases of both parties won’t let go.
