NATO has saved and preserved all of Europe from a bloody Soviet/Russian invasion since the 4th of April 1949. Period.
Thus, it not not only works well. It’s a historical and spectacular success story.
No wonder that NATO is now expanding like never before.
I am thinking that that is NATO of the past - like before East Germany joined.
