This is the shocking moment a boat full of undocumented migrants landed on a beach in San Diego before running into the wealthy La Jolla neighborhood.
More than 20 migrants were filmed storming the beach on Wednesday morning and disappearing into the southern California enclave, where homes go for a median price of $2.2million.
The footage shows the migrants arriving on the shore on some sort of boat, before they take off running into the neighborhood in San Diego, the largest city on the Mexican border.
More than 42,000 asylum seekers were released in San Diego from October through December, 2023 - an average of 637 a day, as reported by The San Diego Union-Tribute. That number does not include migrants who cross illegally, like those seen landing on the La Jolla beach.
The county has already spent $3million caring for the asylum seekers, and has allocated another $3million.
Migrants are often dropped off without knowing where they are. Many end up sleeping on the streets until they can find shelter.

LOL, they made is a good 30 miles north of the border, directly past the IWTG Naval Station! (Although their boat would have looked like any other boat)
They made it past all the military along Coranado. Navy helicopters are constantly traversing up and down the coast. Navy and coast guard ships are constantly sailing into and out of the bay. It’s a joke how toothless our military is.
One note: the average price on homes there will drop considerably if this keeps up.
My son lives in Orange County and it’s definitely changing.
Lucky for him, most of his neighbors are very Conservative.

Sadly this is not new... We have friends that go stay right there a couple weekends a year and they have seen exactly this happen twice in the past 4 years... no idea how often it does, but that is only 8 or maybe 10 weekends over 4 years time span.

The Coast Guard is so short of recruits they can’t even keep all of their boats in the water. I suspect border control is well down on their list of priorities.
