Hold on there, Partner! Be very careful saying you “dont want” somebody’s vote, if they had ever considered some other candidate. People often change preferences during a campaign for the highest office in the land.
I don’t take that as a serious or literal declaration, but some just might.
He’s pretty clearly talking to the big donors who think they can throw a hail mary pass now and if it’s not caught offer 30million and join the club. Trump is saying that won’t fly, choose your team now.
Trump isn’t speaking about individual votes or to voters, but to contributors/donors that shift with the blowing winds.

Why on earth cannot Mister Trump simply explain why he (thinks he is) a better candidate? Say nice things about his opponent? And court undecided voters?

As others here have indicated, I really think this is directed to big, monied corporate donors who try to play both sides.
Similar to how Kari Lake trashed those Arizonans, who liked McCain. Perhaps it wasn’t a vote winner?
