United Auto Workers (UAW) President Shawn Fain slammed former President Trump in a Wednesday speech announcing the union’s endorsement of President Biden, calling the Republican front-runner “a scab.”
“Donald Trump is a scab,” Fain said, prompting applause from union members. “Donald Trump is a billionaire and that is who he represents. If Donald Trump ever worked in an auto plant, he wouldn’t be a UAW member, he would be a company man trying to squeeze the American worker.”
“Donald Trump stands against everything we stand for as a union, as a society,” Fain continued. “When you go back to our core issues, wages, retirement, health care and our time, that’s what this election is about.”

What a joke. Trump worked to bring back the manufacturing jobs that were lost after China was given MFN. Biden was one of those who voted for MFN for China.
I buy non-union built cars. F Government Motors and F the UAW.

The auto industry is in trouble. Auto dealers have over a hundred days worth of vehicles on their lots and storage yard and they are refusing to take more from the manufacturer.
I was under the impression that auto dealers had vehicle on consignment but I was wrong. They have to pay the manufacture for the vehicles (a small percentage on the suggested retail price). The longer the vehicles go unsold the more the dealer has to pay eventually losing out on any profit.
Currently autos and trunks are too expensive for the average customer even with payments stretched out to five years!
Once again Detroit has mis-read what customers want (and it is not a $70,000 vehicle that is underwater the day it is driven off the lot.
So how long can dealers carry the auto manufactures before they go bankrupt? How long can manufactures stay alive if there are fewer dealers?
Unions did not kill the auto industry, short sighted management that believe the good times would never end killed the auto industry.
Fain is a commie.
After Trump is re-elected this DUMBA$$ is going to REGRET having said that!
Trump will keep a lot more jobs in USA than the D’s — and working people understand this.

Plenty of fine cars made in the US by non-union workers. Most of the foreign makes are built down South in the right to work states.
