Lucky for me I booked a cruise to Alaska this summer before the Russkies take over. The most memorable line from War Games is when the Air Force sergeant watching the nukes come in turns to another and says, I just hope they don’t make me eat fish eggs.

I put off the Alaska trip for a long time considering it a trip to an elephant’s grave yard. Quite a few of my neighbors here at Jurassic Park are now pushing up daisies after taking a cruise to Alaska.

Russia has always claimed that any land that belonged to them OR ROME is theirs. Just temporary occupied.

Google “The Third Rome”.

I support a mission group in Siberia.

Most of the new people are various flavors of Chinese. They are moving north for more freedom, land, and of course, women.

Hmmm....it seems that TASS moved the link for some reason.

Copy and paste the link (https://tass.com/russia/1734479) and it works. Go figure. It's Russian.

Regardless, here's the original article.

MOSCOW, January 19. /TASS/.

Russia will allocate funds for an effort to find, register and ensure legal protection of Russia’s property abroad, including property of the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire.

A relevant decree, signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, will allocate funds for the purpose to the Department of Foreign Property of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation.

The funds will be allocated to cover expenses related to "the process of searching the real estate property owned by the Russian Federation, the former Russian Empire, the former USSR," as well as for "due registration of [property] rights" and "legal protection of this property."

Another decree allocates funds to cover the department’s expenses for maintaining and using Russia’s federal property abroad.

“What else do you know of Putin’s mind?”

The author of the link below, Alexsandr Dugin has been called “Putin’s Brain.” I consider this 1997 book the most dangerous work since Hitler’s Mein Kampf in the 1930s.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics Please read the link, and then hopefully, the book.

Below is the 10 point plan for Europe. Then there are 11 more points for Asia and the rest of the world, including the US.

* Germany should be offered the de facto political dominance over most Protestant and Catholic states located within Central and Eastern Europe. Kaliningrad Oblast could be given back to Germany. The book uses the term “Moscow–Berlin axis”.[9]
* France should be encouraged to form a bloc with Germany, as they both have a “firm anti-Atlanticist tradition”.[9]
* The United Kingdom, merely described as an “extraterritorial floating base of the U.S.”, should be cut off from Europe.[9] {Was Brexit part of Dugin’s plan?}
* Finland should be absorbed into Russia. Southern Finland will be combined with the Republic of Karelia and northern Finland will be “donated to Murmansk Oblast”.[9] {Did Finish leaders read this?}
* Estonia should be given to Germany’s sphere of influence.[9]
* Latvia and Lithuania should be given a “special status” in the Eurasian–Russian sphere, although he later writes that they should be integrated into Russia rather than obtaining national independence.[9]
* Belarus and Moldova are to become part of Russia, not independent.[9]
* Poland should be granted a “special status” in the Eurasian sphere. This may involve splitting Poland between German and Russian spheres of influence.[9]
* Romania, North Macedonia, Serbia, “Serbian Bosnia” and Greece – “Orthodox Christian collectivist East” – will unite with “Moscow the Third Rome” and reject the “rational-individualistic West”.[9]
* Ukraine (except Western Ukraine) should be annexed by Russia because “Ukraine as a state has no geopolitical meaning, no particular cultural import or universal significance, no geographic uniqueness, no ethnic exclusiveness, its certain territorial ambitions represents an enormous danger for all of Eurasia and, without resolving the Ukrainian problem, it is in general senseless to speak about continental politics”. Ukraine should not be allowed to remain independent, unless it is cordon sanitaire, which would be inadmissible according to Western political standards. As mentioned, Western Ukraine (compromising of Volynia, Galicia, and Transcarpathia), considering its Catholic-majority population, are permitted to form an independent federation of Western Ukraine but should not be under Atlanticist control.[9]

THERE YOU HAVE IT!! Dugin’s grand plan for Eurasian Russia, Now being implemented by Putin and being taught in Russia’s military academies, and in high schools if Putin has his way. Send this link and information to your friends. All American patriots need to understand the vastness of this evil plan.

And that original has nothing to do with ‘starting with Alaska,’ your snark that you hope others on FR are happy to ‘give up’ Alaska, nor the poorly written, distorted article you posted.
Thank you for posting the updated TASS link - it was the only accurate piece of information. Countries perform the actions stated in the TASS article, and they can demand all they want but there’s legal process in place and ZERO threat of anyone ‘taking back Alaska’.

“So are some of you anti-Ukraine posters ready to give Alaska back to the Muscovites? “

A person must be both paranoid and stupid to think Russia will try to take Alaska back.

They were paranoid and stupid enough to try and take Ukraine were they not. Had they succeeded who knows what would happen next. This will only end in war and the Ukraine should be the ones to end it or who knows we may have to. Putin is that crazy, stupid and evil.

“Hmmmm...it seems that TASS moved the link for some reason.”

Perhaps it was moved since Putin does not want the West to pay so much attention to his overall plans I showed in comment #47 See Dugin’s additional advice/plans for the Americas below

In the Americas, United States and Canada:

* Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States and Canada to fuel instability and separatism against neoliberal globalist Western hegemony, such as, for instance, provoke “Afro-American racists” to create severe backlash against the rotten political state of affairs in the current present day system of the United States and Canada. Russia should “introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics”.[9]
* South America and Central America: The Eurasian Project could be expanded to South and Central America.[9]

Given that the above suggests “simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics”, Putin would not want these “isolationists” to get upset over suggested designs on Alaska. Let Americans stay asleep and only worry about our Southern Border. Don’t get them upset about Alaska too. Then they might decide giving material support to Ukraine actually makes sense.

It appears Putin has already had a lot of success in destabilizing US politics. Must not wake up those who are now asleep!

That’s exactly what people said about Russia invading mainland Ukraine.

The hit job on Crimea had popular support from the expat community there, so Putin knew it would succeed, but Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kerson NEVER voted for separatism. That’s why Putin had to send Denis Pushilin thousands of Russian fighters to prop up his illegal coup.

What was the highest percentage of the vote that Stremousov got in all the times he ran for public office? 5%? 10%?

And that was in a supposedly pro-Russian area. Naturally, he couldn’t be installed as Gauleiter until the Russian Army arrived to enforce his illegal takeover too.

There’s only one paranoid, stupid, phobic regime in the region right now, and it’s Russia. There’s nothing irrational about anti-Russian sentiment across eastern Europe; Russia earned it during the Soviet occupation and Russia has burned every last ounce of goodwill that might’ve expressed by the countries liberated from its cancerous influence when the Berlin Wall fell.

The best thing that could happen to Russia right now is it retreats into its own borders, sticks up really big walls to keep the West out, and starves to death on Vatnik Vranyo Soup.

And what Hitler wrote in mein kampf was just the racings of a little corporal?
Good idea to take someone at their word till they prove otherwise

Writing this off as unattainable does not mean he won’t try
