It was a good speech.
Not a great one—but a good one.
My big issue is the J6 political prisoners—and while DeSantis mentioned lawfare he did not mention these targeted individuals and their fate.
That is a critical issue for the future of all of us.
I am not convinced that DeSantis truly gets it.
He can prove me wrong by fighting for the J6 political prisoners that are Florida residents.
By running, he showed his treachery. The ONLY moral path for a republican in 2024 was to relentlessly hammer away at the election theft coup of 2020 and solidify behind restoring Trump to his rightful office.
The opportunistic trash saw it as a chance. The GOPe that undermined Trump for his entire presidency moved in. And now they are only seen as contemptable.

Clinton had been Arkansas governor for 12 years by the time he ran, JFK in elective office for 13 years. Obama was pushed on us by Soros.
I hope he goes back to Florida and does a great job there. In another time he would have been a fine candidate for President.
Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, Milwaukee and Las Vegas.

Ron’s financial backers hated and feared Trump, so they convinced Ron that he could win!

He would have been one of, if not the, front runner in 2028… now I think he’ll left as an also ran for life
When your campaign is “I’m just like that guy you really like (who is also running), but better, you should not be in the race.
Time will tell
You don’t stop a campaign on the spot. You have to keep it officially up and running so you can legally pay your campaign staff to wind things down, and cover their expenses in the process.
I hope he starts working to get Trump elected!

Just a week ago I read that Ron said not dropping out staying in thru super Tues now “suspends”.
Plenty of other double speaks or quick reversals. He’s just climbing the ladder for himself and along the way sold his soul and you find no fault with that?
Nobody gives a crap what RATS do. And none of them had an election stolen from them. DeSantis chose to run against a popular Republican President who had been continually attacked before he was elected, ruthlessly attacked while in office, removed illegally from office, and illegally attacked by criminals in order to keep him from running again, and the attacks haven't ceased yet, and likely never will.
DeSantis is an arrogant, self-serving prig.
Perhaps, but I think he’s really damaged his brand on the campaign trail in 2023-24.
Possibly in 2028.

I’m 100% Trump in 2024, but will back DeSantis in 2028 if he chooses to run.
I wasn’t happy with his decision to run this year, but it isn’t a deal breaker for me.
Hopefully he runs again in 2028. Maybe if Donald Trump wins this fall, he can offer Ron a position in his cabinet, maybe even his running mate.
