It is safe to say that the DeSantis family won’t be having Karl Rove over for dinner any time soon. Rove and the Trump hating Bush family filled DeSantis and his wife’s heads with vision of grandeur. It is rare that a politician to take such foolish advice and witnessed his career disintegrate.

Hopefully DeSantis hasn’t ruined his political career in Florida, assuming he wants to continue being governor there beyond the end of his current term (2026).

Cleared? There’s never anything listed on this page. For some reason the campaign is never posted events on the website. Nothing new today.
There yet remains an opportunity for DeSantis to earn back some of the respect that his disloyalty has cost him. People WANT to like and trust him, but they are losing trust.

It will be interesting to see which way the DeSantis supporters, especially here on this forum, will go. Some will hop on the Trump train, but I predict that the vast majority will pledge their undying fidelity to Icky Nikki. After Donald Trump trounces her in the primaries, most of these defectors will likely stay home and pout on election day. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a powerful mental illness.

Announcing a run against Trump after the Durham Report comes out probably can load up a campaign schedule.
It can probably also clear a campaign schedule after the people actually start to vote.
Probably yes, he will endorse Trump... Unless he’s gone full blown stupid.
I supported Trump in 2016 and again in 2020. I do not support him in 2024. I support DeSantis, and if it ends up being Trump on the ticket in November, I will not vote for the office of president.
