DeSantis has canceled his appearance tomorrow on @MeetThePress . Also no longer expected to do his CNN appearance either.
Trump had a Town Hall on CNN last year.
It got huge ratings for CNN, and they fired the person who invited Trump on CNN.
If Ron drops out, as of now, I’ll go back to supporting Trump. He’d pretty much be the only option at that point. But I would respect that, and try to quit pointing out the reasons why I don’t support him now.
If you keep posting false and mis-leading information to attack and diminish support for Trump, I should be able to post counter points to them.
He'll have a chance to do that in 2028, especially if Trump loses. If Trump wins, well, DeSantis went for it. Sometimes you get one chance.
If he does stay in the race he is going to get his butt handed to him. He should bow out and endorse Trump, then go back to Florida and try to be a decent Governor.
I have never trusted him as he is a politician, and being a politician makes a person untrustworthy.
We’ll see if he is actually more than a politician with his coming actions after he either gets beaten or quits. If he starts to act like a denied three-year-old and starts to do liberal things to hurt Florida out of spite then he proves he is nothing more than a political worm. If he goes home and picks up the fight for conservatism and our Constitution, then he will show he is actually a good guy and not a pure politician.

I don’t want to put too fine a point on this, but by concern with the original post was the claim that taxes (in general) were high in Florida causing people to leave the state.
I don’t buy that. But if there is credible information that the tax burden on Floridians is higher than what people pay in most other states its size - I’d like to see that data.
The “high tax burden” in Florida falls on visitors. Visitors pay a high percent of the sales tax collections when they visit the Florida refuge for a few days of respite from blue state oppression.

Agree. The TDS crowd keeps insisting that Trump is on video doing something, and when i watch the video, I find they are mistaken or lying. I was talking to a couple of them who claimed that there was a video in which Trump said people should inject bleach. So I watched the video. In fact, Trump was asking a question whether disinfectant (look at the definition) could be used with COVID. These are the sort of bogus arguments that the Sophists thied to use with Socrates and failed miserably.
