As some of you may already know, every Saturday I drive my sister to the Nursing Home 40 miles away so she can visit her husband (Late Stage Alzheimers).
EverySataurday we drive under an overpass that is crowded with MAGA folks, waving flags and banners and showing huge Trump signs to the traffic below. This is at the infamous Braintree Split, where I95, I93, Route 3, and Rt. 37 all come together in a huge interchange that can barely handle the traffic.
They were there this morning, in brutally cold weather, smiling, waving, and chanting FJB.
Did I say that this is the gateway to Boston, MA?
It makes my day...every saturday, for months now, since May of last year.

It truly is “The Long Goodbye” as Nancy Reagan called it.
