If I am watching a movie that we rented, and they begin with the gratuitous homosexual character or plot, I just shut it off.

We watch a lot of British stuff, because they have been well written and in general haven’t had a lot of nasty stuff. But recently there have been gay story lines sort of woven into the plots, and even a couple where the main characters were gay. (The Long Call is an example.)

We need to be better informed about the content of things before we buy. I think the place to stop this crap is in the market place. Stop buying what they're selling. That hurts a lot more to the source than chanting some meaningless slogan on a street corner.
