Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Tuesday ended his campaign for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination after finishing in sixth place in the Iowa caucus.
Hutchinson congratulated former President Donald Trump for his win in Iowa, which hosted the nation's first presidential nominating contest on Monday.
"Today, I am suspending my campaign for President and driving back to Arkansas. My message of being a principled Republican with experience and telling the truth about the current front-runner did not sell in Iowa," according to The Associated Press.
With more than 95% of the votes counted Tuesday morning, Hutchinson received 0.2% support in Iowa, according to The New York Times.

LOL....goofy libtard got his ass handed to him.
Today I learned that Asa Hutchinson was (up until this point) still in the Presidential race.
‘Driving back’.. in a VW Bug.
I hope he goes into a hole and someone covers it up. OTOH, he’ll likely get a job with MSNBC or CNN considering his beliefs and actions.
Should have stayed in to continue embarrassing himself.
Devastating, now what do we do.
Anyone aware he was running? Not me. I sure am happy to read he no longer poses a threat.
No loss. No one noticed.
Who ?
Not just sixth, but it looks like only his church congregation and direct family voted for him. And maybe not even all of them. lol
Who pulls out next? lol
Not Asa. He was surging.
Who finished in 5th place?
Just last week he was a guest on one of the Sunday talk shows with Krispy Kreme. Both losers
Is sixth place a nice way of saying LAST? /s
Ryan Binkley
