Well said, and really illustrates how much choosing the wrong staff of advisors, can impact a candidacy.
Ron surrounded himself with Never Trumpers who cultivated social influencer types that were also Never Trumpers — they wined and dined them in 2022 & early 2023 — no matter where the influencers tried to influence, they were tainted by “never trump” rhetoric.
Their never-Trump influencing, tainted him and normal voters recognized it and voted accordingly.
Now? Everyone caused the loss, but him and his advisors! Waahh! Wahh!
Main problem Ron has is Ron. He is a mealy mouth slow on the uptake person. People have said he is kind of rude and disinterested in speaking to them. He has a uninviting personality which he displays on a regular basis.
Even the right staff can’t fix the problems with Ron.
A smart guy would know by now that he has a job still waiting for him to show up in Florida and call it quits. He could salvage that.
