Currently -28°F, here in Calgary, dropping to -38°F tonight and tomorrow night.
This early AM, driving home after finishing evening shift, listened to all news radio for traffic updates and weather. Between such updates, they have propaganda, er, news.
The reporterette was reporting, complaining really, on the ‘plight’ of all the new immigrants from Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, in Calgary. She complained that they don’t know how to dress for the cold, and how hard it was on them. I could barely understand what she was saying, as she has a VERY pronounced Indian accent.
I thought to myself, ‘Good! Maybe they’ll turn around and go back home!
