I’ll reply to others in this thread who come off less unhinged.
I think I’m mostly hinged (at least at the moment). Glad he dropped out.

He never was really in it to begin with.

He didn’t boost anybody, nobody was going to vote for him, anyway.

So at this time in January 2023, there were something like 15 announced and unannounced contenders for the GOP nomination.
We are now down to 3 contenders and none of them are looking good.

Guess the Christy Kreme never trumpers will be voting for ol’ Nikky now. Both of them?

na! he is trying to help ANYONE else but Trump

"Who did he think was going to vote for him?" No one. His sole purpose for running was to serve as the Deep State's ATTACK DOG on Trump.

In January 2021, there was only 1 contender , the guy who got robbed in 2020.
And he has firm support that increased in 2020 since 2015.
The also rans should have read the room

Cristie having being in it and even imagining that he was viable as a presidential candidate and the fact that the r party played his game leads to me having serious reservations about the whole republican representing me thing.
CNN primary debates,really!
Put Trump in as president duly elected in 2020 or go fish.

And nothing of value was lost.

“... an anti-Trump message.”
This is where everyone fails to compete with Trump. Trump’s already proven he can get things done in the best interest of the citizens in some cases where other politicians on every side are trying to stop him. His opponments haven’t proven anything at that level. So don’t say how villainous Trump is, tell the public what you are and what you want to do. Have a platform rather than a venue of calling someone out that hasn’t been found guilty of anything and no evidence has been provided that is either factual or existing. Otherwise, you’re a liberal. And they can’t compete with him. Beat him. Don’t try to beat him up.

"“From the moment I got into the race, the decision that I made was really simple: I would rather lose by telling the truth than lie in order to win,” Christie told dozens of supporters gathered at the town hall event. “And I feel no differently today.”"And that, of course, is a lie.
