To: Blue Highway

Lot rot is different. Tires go flat or develop flat spots, batteries die, cars get dinged while moving them around on the lot and vinyl tops develop leaks or suffer UV damage. They are exposed to rain, wind and debris blowing around and it all takes a toll. After a year on the lot, your brand new auto isn’t pristine anymore.

A year on the lot? At that point it’s a used car. Down here in Florida I’m not seeing cars sit around that long. If they are on the lot longer then a month it’s rare. Not talking about EVs per se, just cars in general.
