Sitting at home with my little kitteh companion watching Christmas videos. I see my family tomorrow. I’m not afraid of being alone anymore. In fact it has brought me a great deal of clarity in the last few years.

Merry Christmas! Same boat. Me, “Die Hard”, alcohol, and two standard poodles. Same tomorrow. Went to church and had a great service and from there is solitary. FR is good Rx though.

I’m never less lonely than when I’m alone. May the Lord, God our Father bless you.
As long as I have my cellmate, I’m never alone.
Every Christmas, we talk for hours bout the people he killed.
I wish...we have 17 family here. All I want to do is have some drinks, eat and go to bed with my dog curled up at my feet. Bah humbug! And insult to injury, there’s rheindeer crap all over my roof!
So I'm not alone....
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
My local radio station, 630 CHED, runs a Christmas program from 1800 MST Christmas Eve to 0600 MST Boxing Day. It is about 6 hours long, put on repeat. It is a nice program. I highly recommend it.
Merry Christmas, FRiend.
Yeah pretty much.
I’ll probably see just a few people but I’m pretty much determined to stay off of the roads π£οΈπ£οΈπ£οΈπ£οΈπ£οΈ in the midst of it all.

Mark 10:29-31
King James Version
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

Matthew 5:3-12
King James Version
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Nope, not now. I did 13 years ago when my late wife passed in the previous November. Since then I have remarried to another wonderful woman who also loves me and takes care of me like I do her. Life is great when you have a soul mate to share it with.
Luke 2:8-14
English Standard Version
The Shepherds and the Angels
8 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear.
10 And the angel said to them, βFear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.β
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
14 βGlory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!β
