We know that the Soviets had nothing to do with the assassination thanks to Morris Childs, who was in the Kremlin with Soviet leaders when JFK was shot.
Childs was our most valuable spy of the entire Cold War. He was the money courier for the CPUSA and the Soviets trusted him implicitly and treated him like one of their own.
The Russians were as shocked by the assassination as we were. They had a grudging respect for Kennedy and they were running through every possible scenario for who could have been responsible.
There’s a great book on Morris Childs and his brother Jack, who also spied for us. Reagan awarded both of them the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Hilarious. That isn’t the slightest bit accurate. What conspiracy comic did that come from? You’ve never read any of the witness statements in the Warren Report, have you? Few people ever have read any of the report which is why that kind of nonsense gets traction.

Co-workers terrified that they stood face-to-face with him in the cafeteria when the shots rang out. I’d trust that perspective more than people thinking they saw him from a far-off distance up in a window.
Absolutely correct and this is from a former conspiracy believer. It took me going to the grassy know and the Texas Book Depository window and reading the testimony to realize most if not all of the conspiracy theories were bunk.
