Evidently officers from both the City of South Bend and St. Joseph County were involved in the botched raid. The article said that each agency thinks the other one should pay all the costs.
That’s dishonorable thinking, to say the least. I suppose this case will slowly wind its way through the courts. It will probably be years before that homeowner sees any compensation.
This is a horrible thing to do to an innocent family.
Sue them both.
SPLIT IT AND LET THE FAMILY GET BACK TO THEIR LIVES.
They need to file suit on both agencies.
