The top Republican strategist spoke with Fox News Digital after meeting with a number of GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill this week to discuss what she argues is the need to promote contraception and reach a consensus on the abortion issue lest Democrats continue to use it as a "turnout intensifier" in November

Every Catholic I know has practiced birth control. That includes one couple where the husband was inches away from full-blown priesthood.
Ahhh, actually you are quite correct. Not just with Black men, but with men, particularly young men in general.
When I was a kid contraceptives were a drug store item that had to be embarrassingly purchased and being caught with them would mean being shamed.
Today there is no excuse, they are sold everywhere and having them is no longer a sin. My point being, with contraceptives so easy to get, there is no excuse for unwanted pregnancies. But they still happen more so than back when contraceptives were hard to get.
“Where are the Evangelicals?”
Absolutely no abortions. (Life of mother is exception.) Birth control OK.
This should be the stance of federally elected officials or in states with constituents divided on this issue. In states that are solidly pro life there is no need to adjust the messaging.
but I wouldn’t expect a White Boot Brigade TDS’r
Nope, a Trump only 2024 supporter. Just not a fluffer.
You’re just addressing condoms, and men’s responsibility. Women can do what women did in more civilized days, i.e., just say NO.
So much of this thread is assuming that people MUST have sex. That were all base animals.
Charlie Kirk, with Turning Point USA, was up on stage in Phoenix, AZ, yesterday at a four-day event - America Fest, and in his opening monologue/speech, he emphasized quite well that the conservative side needs to procreate like bunny rabbits. (my term)
He did say however quite succinctly, MATERNITY over MODERNITY...
Kellyanne Conway must not be able to land a job in D.C. but promotes abortion issue for the democrats to make it a fed issue not a state only issue.
Must be some under the table umm favors going on?.
Conway presumes that there is a significant number of women who would vote non-RINO Republican if the party was pro-abortion. Doubtful. The women whose votes turn on abortion alone are either Democrats or RINOS who would never support a Trunp, DeSantis, Cruz, etc.
“ Surely she knows that contraception, part and parcel with the culture of death, is the gateway drug that leads to the proliferation of abortion in society.”
You are correct. I grew up Irish Catholic in NY. Do you want to know how many of my upbringing compadres are familiar with the logic of this? How may have read the encyclical Humanae Vitae that describes what you say and predicted in 1968 this cultural destruction of the west through birth control? How many know what an encyclical is? How many know or even care that birth control is a sin? That abortion is a mere part of the culture of death of birth control?
Zero to one percent
They pass on their non marriage lifestyle to the next generation. They practice birth control. You know how they can practice birth control without the option of abortion? They can’t.
If you want Catholics to save this or a Catholic savior to arise to flip the 50% of Catholics who consistently help put a democrat in the White House ok but I can’t imagine what that would look like.
What is the answer to this aspect of the issue? Most people including Catholics don’t want abortion per se. They want abortion as an option in their birth control dependent lifestyle prevalent in this culture that the democrats provide and make necessary. the 18-34 crowd isn’t even getting married. And they vote
The Republican congress won’t help Trump with this. They’re 90% democrat themselves
Modernists and neo-modernists presuming to set the agenda. Ain’t happenin’.
If the shoe fits, wear it, IB.
Saying the GOP has an "abortion strategy" is a bit ridiculous.
After you are routed and those fleeing are being cut down by pursuers, it's hard to have anything you could call a "strategy".
You appear to have happened upon the true “spirit of Vatican II”.
Abortion will bury the GOP unless it is dealt with.
‘The Republican congress won’t help Trump with this.’
what makes you think Trump has any strong anti abortion position...?
he thinks Republicans speak ‘inarticulately’ about abortion...
GOP needs to get ahead of this issue by compromising. They won the big issue at SCOTUS — murdering babies is not a human right. Now, take a deep breath and pace yourselves for the eventual win.
But, if they go for total victory now the Dems (aka comme trash) will sweep every state with laws permitting murder to just after birth — as they already have in several states.
Make the compromise:
if Mom’s life is in danger at any time either abort or birth the viable kid,
no voluntary abortion once the baby is viable—PERIOD.
conceived by rape justifies abortion in first trimester. After that, too late.
Every woman (not commie trash, remember—they cannot define woman) will accept this. That takes this off the ballot as an issue.
‘If the shoe fits, wear it, IB.’
okay, now that you got that off your chest, how about answering the question put to you...?
This Guy supposed nothing.
supposes nothing
