The top Republican strategist spoke with Fox News Digital after meeting with a number of GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill this week to discuss what she argues is the need to promote contraception and reach a consensus on the abortion issue lest Democrats continue to use it as a "turnout intensifier" in November

“ Surely she knows that contraception, part and parcel with the culture of death, is the gateway drug that leads to the proliferation of abortion in society.”
You are correct. I grew up Irish Catholic in NY. Do you want to know how many of my upbringing compadres are familiar with the logic of this? How may have read the encyclical Humanae Vitae that describes what you say and predicted in 1968 this cultural destruction of the west through birth control? How many know what an encyclical is? How many know or even care that birth control is a sin? That abortion is a mere part of the culture of death of birth control?
Zero to one percent
They pass on their non marriage lifestyle to the next generation. They practice birth control. You know how they can practice birth control without the option of abortion? They can’t.
If you want Catholics to save this or a Catholic savior to arise to flip the 50% of Catholics who consistently help put a democrat in the White House ok but I can’t imagine what that would look like.
What is the answer to this aspect of the issue? Most people including Catholics don’t want abortion per se. They want abortion as an option in their birth control dependent lifestyle prevalent in this culture that the democrats provide and make necessary. the 18-34 crowd isn’t even getting married. And they vote
The Republican congress won’t help Trump with this. They’re 90% democrat themselves

Thank you, stanne.
Link to Humanae Vitae:
Fine. But what do you say to posts such as these that I was responding to?
“... but we let females vote ... and here we are ...”
Where are men as a voting bloc on abortion?
It's a good question!
So far I have not seen any poll posing this question to men.
You can imagine no?
Well, I can imagine two basic responses from the general population:
“I’m against abortion. But I still expect to have sex with any woman I want because she should already be on birth control for my convenience.” (But what if the birth control fails? Contraception isn’t 100% effective. Life finds a way.)
“Uh, it’s a woman’s right to choose. I have no opinion.”
and much, much fewer responses, from the more conservative men:
“No. Not under any circumstances.”
As a bloc. Do they have a group? Are they against abortion?
Their silence is deafening to me as I read many posts condemning women
In general, I feel bad for these kids and the culture that is PRESENTED TO THEM which they didn’t create.
Good comparison to driver ed. Exactly, it’s not a joke.
Our culture is so toxic, it’s not good for men or women. Evil reigns it seems.
"Trump only 2024 supporter.", says the astroturfing moron who went hard pimping Ron not a month after the Meatwad announced, starting posts with "Love DeSantis".
You are just another blank pleb face in the moRonlim TDS crowd (you reek of a banned #Tedlim and you fit both the limp---k profile and the timeline); avataring as a pearl-clutching fantasizer about President Trump "sitting in jail"; or, President Trump "could go to jail"; or, "nothing stopping ... Garland from arresting [President Trump]".
The Evangelicals need to be protesting. They were fighting for overturning Roe V. Wade.
what percentage of birth control use relates to the use case that you have identified? 2%? are u actually trying to make some sort of debating point? I can’t tell if you are trolling
it’s between a woman and her doctor? sure…then why does the government fund these things if they are between a woman and her doctor. Once I pay for something then it becomes very much my business.
How much birth control do you actually pay for?
pretty sure poor people get it for free as poor people have socialized medicine.
I’m pretty sure they’re divorced.
You selectively edit, twist what you edit, and name call. Sounds like a leftist troll, or a J6 committee member, ala LIz or the cry baby. Nice try. Certainly their style. I’ve been here since 2004. Nothing you selectively edited suggests TDS. Yes, I like RDS, and your selections only point out that I worry Trump can be railroaded. Clear as day. I am only Trump for 2024. But there’s going to be a 2028 too. I don’t see the value in destroying the bench. Grow up.
Which still has a cost. Just ask any senior who is forced to be on Medicare
what does that have to with the fact that government shouldn’t pay for birth control for healthy fertile women?
Well, you’re right. At least they say they are. But I wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her. She is a soulless mercenary just in it for the money.
You are clueless. It is not just about birth control. Valid medical reasons exist for those drugs to be prescribed other than to prevent pregnancy
