Well, we do have more grace than DeSantis & his supporters. We have more brains as well. Because we can see that DeSantis is nothing but a tool for the Deep State. He cried to Trump to endorse him in 2018, which Trump did, and he came from behind to win. He’s such a loyal person full of gratitude though. 🤣

Another perfect example as to why Trump may lose votes because some of his followers are so far removed from grace and alienate those who would otherwise be inclined to vote against his opponent.

No, you really don’t. There is no grace in idol worship or politics. The former is sin and the latter a necessary evil among people without grace.

The following is my response back to your post # 34:

Idol worship is the claim you DeSantis supporters try to make, but it doesn't hold water, as I worship Jesus Christ & the Lord only, as do most Trump supporters. You support DeSantis because you believe he is the person for the job. I support Trump because I have seen him lead and know he is the person for the job.

I saw what DeSantis could do at the lower level as Governor, and was impressed enough with him to be excited about him for 2028. Because we will need another person who has the courage to continue the fight against the tyranny that is griping this nation from top to bottom. Something I thought I would never see in my lifetime, but have become concerned about since the turn of the century.

But he has exposed himself as being nothing more than the willing tool of the GOPe, who by the way, have helped in getting this nation to the point where it is at today, by being the controlled opposition to the Democrats and assisting them at every turn. I say that as a lifelong Republican who has never voted for a Democrat. I was even against the Democrats before I was able to cast a vote. The GOPe are as evil as the Satan worshipping Democrats. The fact that you fail to see that speaks volumes about your judgement abilities.

Thank you for your service, but unfortunately that doesn't mean you are right just because you have served. I pray that you will see what is right for this nation.

If you believe that Trump is the Hitler for America, which it sounds like you do, then you really need to find the Lord. There was nothing in Trump's first term that indicated anything even remotely resembling Trump's leadership to that of Hitler's leadership.

Certainly not visible in either your posts, nor those posts of others attacking Ron DeSantis whom you apparently approve of. Rather, it seems politics is the religion and politicians the idols or the enemies. Those are not worship of Jesus Christ as Lord only, and certainly not true religion

The following is now my response to your post #40

So, so as you can see I never even commented on the merits, or lack there of, of the content of the original post of DeSantis' actions in response to the actions of someone who executed a criminal act. I didn't even comment on the criminal act itself. But I will do so now: The constitution, protects the speech of what you & I may find blasphemous & offensive as Christians. But it's the price we must pay to secure our right to free speech also.

Instead, what I did was comment on was DeSantis and his behavior, as I see it. Now you may disagree with my assessment, but I also have that same right as an American citizen. You may even find it offensive, but I find what a lot of DeSantis supporters say about Trump offensive. These political fights are not something that is new to this board, they have been on going since my introduction to this board. You too, however, are free to state your opinion as well. You see how this works. It is supposedly why you served in the military, to save guard those freedoms we enjoy from our constitution.

You may also find the need to fear the Lord, but I see no need to fear the Lord which I love. Respect him, absolutely, but fear him, that's not warranted at all. The Bible itself even tells us not to fear. Point out where it says we must fear the Lord.

What I think about Trump or DeSantis should be of no real concern to you. If you don't like what I say combat it, but do not try to be sanctimonious like your preferred candidate, DeSantis who makes claims that are blatantly false, just like the claims you leveled against me were blatantly false.

Now I gave you the courtesy of one more comment, but I absolutely refuse to communicate with you any further, you sanctimonious fraudster parading as holy than thou. I see why you may be fearful of the Lord you should be loving instead.
