The consumer price index, a closely watched inflation gauge, increased 0.1% in November, and was up 3.1% from a year ago...Excluding volatile food and energy prices, the core CPI increased 0.3% on the month and 4% from a year ago.

In other words, the data is meaningless.
I believe this is PURE fraud on the part of the desperate Democratic Party who controls Biden and all the agencies of the federal government.
I had quesadillas yesterday for lunch at a local restaurant. Including tip, the bill was $26.00. 3 years ago, the same plate of food would have been $17.00.
Now, I can grudginly afford it. But, employees of mine have to bring a bologna sandwich to work. Biden and the Democrat marxists screwed millions of low paid employees...BAD.
“Look! We have changed the entire methodology to track and measure inflation to get the number we want to fool you. Aren’t we clever?”
No go off enjoy being poor and eating bugs.
Opening the Border to 7 million low skill, low education, illegal immigrants crushes the wage scale, too.
Prices go up - pay goes down!
99% of Americans will be financially worse-off than they were pre-pandemic by mid-2024, JPMorgan says.
It’s a small price to pay for no more mean tweets from the mean/bad orange man...

Medium combination pizza from my favorite pie place, $24.50. For a medium pizza!!!!
Im done. Ive stopped hitting up breweries for beer. Ive almost stopped going out altogether. This sucks............
I guy gains 100 pounds in 1 year. One month he gains just 1 pound and brags about it.
Inflation has “slowed to a 3.1% annual rate. So everything that went up by 100% will cost you 103%.
That is a ot of money for flour, sauce and some cheese.
Everyone who believes this stand on your head...
The rate of inflation has declined.
However the rate of increase curve must be integrated to obtain the cumulative inflation that has occurred.
The rate has declined but the actual prices remain at the cumulative levels.

Shhhh! Please do not introduce reality into the conversation. The deep state would not be pleased and we certainly wouldn’t want that now, would we?
Booschidt. I don’t believe government statistics. I believe the prices on the shelves at the store. I haven’t seen one thing drop its price. All I’ve noticed was increases, especially during November.

They are also clever at taking care of themselves. The governing elites get cost of living adjustments, raises, bonuses, and generous benefits packages to ensure they keep up with rising prices.
Few of them ever feel any financial pain.
Biden’s economic advisor Lael Brainard: “We’ve seen grocery prices come down. We’ve seen prices at the pump come down.”
Yea keep believing that nonsense
I picked up a store brand gallon of distilled water today, used to be 99 cents, now $1.49, a 50% increase. The same store had 2-liter Sprites for $2.99, those used to be 99 cents on sale, and maybe $1.25 regular price. All this within the last 3 years or so.
And yes, the numbers are phony without including food or fuel. It’s like if you don’t need food, or to go anywhere, the numbers are merely bad, and not horrific.
My rapidly rising expenses tell me they’re lying about inflation. Its significantly higher than officially reported.
I gave up on McDonald's prices a couple years ago.
