He had a stroke.. no one would deny that

But the nonsensical claptrap the national right wing media fed about him was idiotic.

Tried to tell folks he’s no push over, and no I don’t agree with him politically, but the idiotic nonsense that Hannity and the other parrots pushed about him being a weak candidate etc was nonsensical.

The worst candidate I have ever seen for statewide office to run as a Republican in pa in all the years I have lived here was OZ…and those same flappy headed morons tried to sell you he was a winner…. He was not

Had Fetterman not had a stroke he would have won by double dogits.

I don’t agree with his politics but the nonsense they fed you about him being a week rube of a candidate was just more of thr GOP establishment being utterly out of touch.

Oz was an absolute turf and Fetterman was a far stronger candidate then the establishment gop media ever seemed to realize

Indeed, Oz was a terrible candidate for PA. He hadn’t even lived in PA for very long. When Fetterman was running, a few of us tried explaining why PA voters liked him. I heard PA voters say it again and again: They saw him as one of the guys. They could picture themselves having a beer with him. He never held a blue collar job in his life, but he connected with blue collar voters.

Republicans were right in many of their criticisms of him, but elections are all about image and connecting with the voters. Now, even PA Republican voters are beginning to like Fetterman.
