Ruby Freeman and Wandrea "Shaye" Moss described living in a perpetual state of fear after Rudy Giuliani targeted the two Georgia election workers with conspiracy-fueled lies in the wake of the 2020 election.
This week, a jury will tally the cost of those lies when Freeman and Moss' defamation suit against Giuliani goes to trial in Washington, D.C.
A federal judge has already found the former New York City mayor liable for defamatory comments he made about the mother and daughter. Giuliani, acting on behalf of former President Donald Trump, engaged in a sprawling misinformation campaign in late 2020 and early 2021 after Joe Biden secured the presidency, hopscotching across the country in search of evidence that the election was rigged. He never found it. But in the process, his unfounded claims about Freeman and Moss -- that they had manipulated ballots in Fulton County, Georgia -- prompted a deluge of threats that ultimately drove Freeman from her home.

During an appearance before the Georgia state legislature a month after the election, Giuliani told lawmakers that a video circulating online showed "Ruby Freeman and Shaye Freeman Moss ... quite obviously surreptitiously passing around USB ports, as if they're vials of heroin or cocaine." Freeman later said the video showed her handing ginger mint candies to Moss, who was experiencing stomach pain at the time. In the ensuing months, the women faced accusations online, by phone, and in person.

I listened to Giuliani speaking with Bannon in the past few days. He appears less than concerned.
Ruby Freeman and her felonious posse of fraudfeasors can only hope for a biased DC judge.
That will not save them, the pre-election videos of Ruby “Gettin’ it done” in the GA BOE building by herself, coupled with her post election statements about election fraud, stating, “This is bigger than me.”
Ruby will fold under cross examination.
Justice is coming for Ruby, it will get her and her daughter when they least expect it.
One would think the bigger complaint would be that our democracy had been subverted by corruption and a fascist government was taking over, but we must instead worry about hair dye and "Krackens."

The reason we are thinking about "Krackens" is because some bad actors got themselves into the Trump campaign, and planted innate stories that they knew the hopium crowd would suck up like a hobo with a pint of Thunderbird, and end up looking like fools.
Meanwhile, while this is going on I am screaming at my TV set every day, because they were looking everywhere EXCEPT where the fraud was.
I agree they were focusing on the trivial instead of the really important areas of fraud, but i'm not convinced there wasn't computer fraud happening too.
But most of the fraud was absentee ballots, and rigged election counting areas like Fulton County Georgia and Maricopa county Arizona.
