It’s called voting with your feet. It used to be done a lot. Don’t like the taxes, prices, politics of an area? Go somewhere that has people that think like you.
The colonists fled England. The settlers of Appalachia left East as it became oppressive. The real malcontents didn’t stop until they hit the Pacific Ocean.
We in the states being fled to ask that if you come here because you don’t like there, don’t try to make her like there.
We Southerners have said the same to Yankees for decades and decades. We're happy to welcome Leftugees from there. But if you want gold plated government services for everything and government control over everything....please just don't come. You're not going to be happy here. We're not like you and we don't want to be like you.
I have no plans to make my new state of Florida like my old state of Maryland. What a horrible thing to do to other people!
