Three years ago I thought we were ok with our finances and home, but with the giant increases in insurance(home and auto) property tax and the general cost of living we may eventually need to sell and move.

I can’t believe this was on CNN. Flabbergasted.

My only explanation is that they thought showing ‘rednecks’ supporting Trump would be a big negative, ‘only stupid inbred hill people would vote Trump’. In my neck of the woods (literally) this is a big positive.

Oklahoma has some really cheap housing and taxes, especially in some of the really small towns.

I understand that affordable housing can be found in East St. Louis, Ill., Camden, NJ, Gary, Ind. and Detroit.

I saw an interview of hockey coach Don Cherry in which he said the Canadian “rednecks” had nothing to be ashamed of. He said “The name came from hardworking men leaning forward to dig or plow or plant and exposing their necks to get sunburned all day. Lazy guys didn’t work so didn’t get red necks.”
