I agree. Maybe we don't have to go back to the 1950's completely. But there are some folks who may need to live in group homes. They need to be monitored so they take their meds daily. And yes, no firearms for them.

They're okay when they take their meds. But when they're not taking them, they're nuts.

Anyway, our mental health system is crap. They treat you and then throw you out to the streets. There's nothing humane about that. And they pose a threat to society at large.
