The European Union would never allow it. Some years ago Ireland voted in a referendum to reject some big European Union treaty. EU regulations require unanimous approval of all treaties and Ireland was the only member to put it to the voters.
Upon that rejection the clowns who run the EU demanded that another vote be held. And they made sure that the second one gave the desired result.

I know that Irish guys wake up just looking for a fight. And Conor probably is the best at it.I hope he doesn’t have to campaign from jail. Seems to be a trend these days.

I was one of 8 kids, when I was 10 my dad put the gloves on me and had me fight my oldest brother who was 10. I hated it but later in life it proved to be a life saver as I was able to defend myself and not fear larger and more belligerent people. It gave me the will to face off against anyone and I thank my Dad for that. My Dad was still hitting the small bag in his 80's RIP PA.

I don’t think the Irish president actually has any authority. Ireland is a unitary parliamentary democracy.i think all the authors lies with the parliament and the PM. President is more a ceremonial position. Could be wrong!

Conor McGregor is OK by me, but he’s just kicking up some dust. He will not run for President of Ireland. I remember how this most Catholic of countries legalized abortion in 2018. This was the start of decline.
What percent of Ireland population is immigrants? Hard to find this on the internet. It is crazy that they have allowed in so many Muslims and 3rd worlders. Into their once very pale-faced, lily-white nation.

That is true... But he's also 6'3" and Coner is 5'7"... If he stands tall, add another .5"s to his height and he's still a Leprechaun.

From my Brave AI:
Summarizer:
As of April 2021, Ireland’s population was estimated to be over 5 million, with just over 65,000 people immigrating, with an estimated 30,200 returning Irish nationals, the highest number since 2007.02 Around 13% or 646,000 of the population are non-Irish nationals, including 180.000 who are neither UK nor EU nationals.1 The number of immigrants to Ireland is estimated to have increased by just above 85% to 120,700 from 65,200 when compared with 2021.0 The foreign-born population accounts for 17% of the total population, with 46% arriving in the last 5 years compared with 22% on average across OECD countries.3
