Saying petroleum comes from fossils is ridiculous. I am quite sure our Creator was responsible for petroleum’s existence - just as He is responsible for the rest of the universe!
There never was enough biological materials to produce the amount of petroleum extant in the Earth. Even accounting for a couple of billion years.
Plus, how did it wind up thousands of feet, even miles, below the surface?
