Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley may have a long way to go if she’s going to catch up with frontrunner Donald J. Trump but she has scored one big endorsement despite its dubious value.
The former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations earned a nod from longtime Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin, one of the most unhinged pundits in the entire media, especially when it comes to Trump who she loathes with a purple passion.
The media’s choice for next year’s nomination, the ambitious Haley isn’t likely to generate much enthusiasm from Trump’s supporters in the unlikely chance that she does manage to emerge as the GOP nominee next year and even Rubin seems to be lukewarm but sees her as the only horse in the race with a chance of overtaking the former president who is running away with the competition.
“Don’t get me wrong. She is an unabashed opportunist who has never fully denounced Trump. She even suggested she might pardon him. She’s enamored of trickle-down economics and more tax cuts for the rich. And her views on abortion are anathema to those who want women to retain first-class citizenship and control over their own lives,” Rubin writes in her column titled “It’s Nikki Haley or bust for the GOP.”
“However, the question is not whether Americans strongly inclined to vote for President Biden would vote for her in the general election. The question is whether, if she managed to topple Trump, she would break with the MAGA cult of personality, decline to bow and scrape before Russian President Vladimir Putin, decline to weaponize the Justice Department against her enemies and return to some version of normal Republican politics,” she continued.

Pretty sure Trump cooked that feud when DeSantis when re-election by 20 points and some people declared him the future of the party.
maybe ... but Ryan and Baris actually bragged about it but that article is now hard to find.
Yes. True that Paul Ryan was never going to endorse RDS. Same applies for all of the globalist elites. Niki Haley, Trump’s hand chosen UN ambassador, is the one who is obviously for sale to any bidder.
DeSantis, with an almost perfect conservative ranking in congress, helped start the freedom caucus almost as a wedge to stop Paul Ryan’s attempt for an amnesty bill.
Globalist RINOs always hated DeSantis and never backed him, because they always knew that DeSantis was never for sale. They aren’t dumb. Also, DeSantis isn’t failing. He leads in small donor support by miles. If DeSantis was even close to failing, Trump wouldn’t be sending unhinged posts about DeSantis almost every night, citing his own Fabriani op polls, and mainstream media push polls, which aren’t exactly votes.
If polls were actual votes, we would be living under Hilary’s second term, with the Ukraine War in its 7th year.

They repeatedly told this story that the Establishment chose DeSantis to take Trump out. So what are Haley, Christie etc. even doing in the race? How is it that they didn’t order them to drop out? Their response to that very obvious question is to just make up more things that make even less sense.
