Kiss of death: Nikki Haley scores the most UN-coveted endorsement in GOP history (Jennifer Rubin endorses Nikki McRomBush)
Biz Pac Review ^ | 12/2/23 | Chris Donaldson

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley may have a long way to go if she’s going to catch up with frontrunner Donald J. Trump but she has scored one big endorsement despite its dubious value.

The former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations earned a nod from longtime Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin, one of the most unhinged pundits in the entire media, especially when it comes to Trump who she loathes with a purple passion.

The media’s choice for next year’s nomination, the ambitious Haley isn’t likely to generate much enthusiasm from Trump’s supporters in the unlikely chance that she does manage to emerge as the GOP nominee next year and even Rubin seems to be lukewarm but sees her as the only horse in the race with a chance of overtaking the former president who is running away with the competition.

“Don’t get me wrong. She is an unabashed opportunist who has never fully denounced Trump. She even suggested she might pardon him. She’s enamored of trickle-down economics and more tax cuts for the rich. And her views on abortion are anathema to those who want women to retain first-class citizenship and control over their own lives,” Rubin writes in her column titled “It’s Nikki Haley or bust for the GOP.”

“However, the question is not whether Americans strongly inclined to vote for President Biden would vote for her in the general election. The question is whether, if she managed to topple Trump, she would break with the MAGA cult of personality, decline to bow and scrape before Russian President Vladimir Putin, decline to weaponize the Justice Department against her enemies and return to some version of normal Republican politics,” she continued.

I don’t know if an endorsement from Jennifer Rubin is the “kiss of death” for Nimrata (who is all of a sudden very well funded up here in NH) - but even if it’s not the “kiss of death”, it tells you everything you need to know about a great many things - especially about the GOP and the way things work in general.

This is all about 2028.

The reason why these losers are working so hard to come in Second Place, is because they believe it’ll put them in the driver’s seat when Trump is either term limited out, or he will be 82 and probably not viable.

The last time a candidate came in second during the primaries, but became THE nominee 4 years later, is Hillary. Before Hillary, the last time someone Showed but became the nominee 4 years later was McCain.

And yea, Reagan too…but that was a million years ago.

Let that soak in….these losers are working furiously on a modern candidacy model that resulted in two failures.

Weird how all the Deep State Neocon GOPe is endorsing Haley, not DeSantis. On might almost think Trumps surrogates have lied to us about who’s the RINO.

A writer for THE WASHINGTON POST. They have ALWAYS tried to select the candidate..instead of allowing the PEOPLE to make the choice. Nice try. Not going to fall into this trap this year. Sorry Jenny.

The truth is they’ve always been for Haley. They’ve been hinting about and pushing her for years.

But they figured their ONLY hope to stop Trump from getting the nomination was Desantis, who’s too conservative for them, but they wanted to vanquish Trump.

Now that Desantis is failing, they’re back to Haley.

They’ll still fail, but they will have given the media LOTS of money (Haley ads) in the mean time, which is part of the game.

I read an account about how Benito Mussolini was publicly complementing FDR’s policies. Someone had to explain to him that he was actually hurting FDR and if he wanted FDR to be successful, get reelected, etc., he had to stop talking about how awesome FDR and his polices were. Mussolini was insulted that his praise should be considered poison. (I’d hate to have been the brave soul explaining this.) Same thing here, apparently.

The libs have failed in their effort to advance DeSantis as a challenger to Trump, now they’re trying the same thing with Nikkita Haley.

Pre-convention endorsements of Republicans by liberals inevitably evaporate the minute the convention ends.

Ah. They were never for Desantis in a meaningful way. The plan was always let Trump and his cultists take out DeSantis, let Trump get destroyed by his legal problems and install Haley at the convention.

this is true ... it was Paul Ryan and his good buddy Richard Baris that cooked up the entire Trump/DeSantis “feud”.

I despise her political views and call her by her real name. She is not eligible to be president.
