According to our source, the possibility of this unannounced meeting was one of the reasons for the parliamentary leadership's cancellation of Poroshenko's trip.
The Ukrainian leadership believes that a meeting between the former president and the Hungarian PM could further damage Ukraine-Hungary relations, which are currently in a crisis.
Orban is planning to block negotiations for Ukraine's entry into the European Union and the allocation of EUR 50 billion ($55 billion) in financial aid to Kyiv—both issues to be discussed at the upcoming EU summit in December.

Poroshenko is a de facto prisoner, and he obviously wasn't representing Zelensky. One wonders how much longer this Ukranian regime can last. Not very long by yhe looks of things.

Poroshenko is a de facto prisoner LOL, or he is being treated like every other male in Ukraine. Duh

He isn’t every other male in Ukraine and was given written permission to leave. Please read at least a few paragraphs of the article before taking a stand.

State Border Guard Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko told NV that Poroshenko was not allowed to travel abroad because his business trip was canceled. Later, Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Kornienko reported that the business trip had been canceled after receiving a confidential letter from a government institution, the contents of which he could not disclose.

Please read at least a few paragraphs of the article before taking a stand. This is how the implosion will be. It won't be all the heads popping all at once. It will be one actor at a time melting down. It could take years.

No accountability, no remorse, no contrition, zero scrutiny from the media or their fellow politicians. Our local chatterboxes will just go on to the next, new shinny object never looking back and never acknowledging the half-million dead and more than $200 billion dollars spent in a losing effort.
Slava Ukraini, or what little is left of it.

Heh...Poroshenko is even more pro-Western than Zelensky. That’s why he won the election in May 2014 after Yanukovich ran away to Daddy Vladdy.

It would be quite ironic if Poroshenko replaced Zelensky.

Nonsense. It was a political coup followed by a rigged election. Use your Google machine for details.

Neocons aren’t the brightest people on the forum, but with the Ukraine Project collapsing and Trump on the rise, you won’t be here much longer.
