I disagree. It shows that they can eject a corrupt politician. That’s the precedent they are setting. It just needs to be applied more often to both sides of the aisle. If the GOP could not expel a person who had literally piles of cash stuffed in a mattress, then how would that make us look. (Hint: like Democrats.)

In fact I would like to know which Republicans voted against this

We already knew the GOP could toss its own. It’s Democrats that are untouchable. The Democrats laugh and prepare to occupy the seat.
