All they accomplished in the long term today was to make the Democrat Party stronger.
And the country even weaker.
I disagree. It shows that they can eject a corrupt politician. That’s the precedent they are setting. It just needs to be applied more often to both sides of the aisle. If the GOP could not expel a person who had literally piles of cash stuffed in a mattress, then how would that make us look. (Hint: like Democrats.)
