Sigh.

You people insist on how hugely popular Trump is, then when he failed to win a pop vote, you finally realize the electoral is how it works and sputter about that. You talk endlessly that Trump must be the most popular guy in history, but don’t like when it’s pointed out that he did not win the pop in 16.

That is the point.

He is NOT truly fraud-proof popular enough to guarantee any win, even if there was no fraud.

You all treat it like it’s a slam dunk, and cite all these polls that are nationwide (mostly primary) rather than more meaningful to reflect the reality of electoral system.

You will fail if you refuse to see reality, that Trump is only a cult phenomenon with some conservatives, and does not curry advantage for the general. Some conservatives kiss his butt, but all Dems hate him (hint: it’s not because he’s a super conservative). The overwhelming motivation of the latter will bring him down.

It’s not wonderful, but Trump is far from wonderful, as a politician and certainly not outside politics.

So on balance, sorry, DeSantis is morally superior.

Who cares? The popular vote is meaningless.

Go peddle your Trump hatred elsewhere.

Try reading the Constitution you fraud. The popular vote is not mentioned. What’s your obsession with it?

“The citizens are half communist.”

On the other had the biggest alternative seems to be going more than half fascist.

I want to know what Trump and Putin discussed in their hour of private discussion. Also would like to know what Jill Stein and Putin talked about.

A poll result from a week ago showed Nikki Haley moving well ahead of RDS.

Are DU trolls known for liking DeSantis and Trump and would vote for either and did vote for Trump twice?

Funny.

Are you dense? What part of, Trump won the popular vote in 2016 by a million votes if you take California out of the equation, don’t you understand? As far as 2020 goes, you have to be willfully blind to believe that Biden legitimately got 81 million votes - 15 million more than Hillary got in 2016, and that Obama got in 2012.

>>”You all treat it like it’s a slam dunk, and cite all these polls that are nationwide (mostly primary) rather than more meaningful to reflect the reality of electoral system.”

Now you’re just throwing out strawman arguments. Nobody around here is claiming it’s a slam dunk, when you take fraud into account. Our point isn’t that Trump is guaranteed to overcome the fraud, just that he’s the GOP candidate who’s most likely to be able to do so. Do you think fraud will just go away if the Republicans nominate DeSantis? If you do, you’re not thinking clearly.

And as far as Trump alienating people, who are you talking about? Republicans? Any Republican, except for the most die-hard Trump haters like yourself, will vote for Trump in the general election, warts and all. If you’re talking about Democrats and Independents, you’re dreaming if you think they’re more likely to vote for a DeSantis or a Haley, than Trump.

Your analysis doesn’t hold water. And you can try to minimize the fraud from 2020, all you want, but that won’t be because you’ve looked at the evidence. The evidence for wide-scale fraud, in the swing states in particular, is copious. I’ve shared it here many times, from Biden’s loss of 18 out of 19 bellwether counties, to the hundreds of sworn affidavits from election workers and observers testifying to the blatant fraud they witnessed, to the video evidence exposed in 2000 mules and in Fulton county arena on election night, to vote reporting anomalies that can’t be rationally explained, to vote switching actually being broadcast on live TV. And I’ve just scratched the surface.

You’ve demonstrated time and again, that you’re not interested in having a serious, objective discussion on the topic. Maybe you’re not capable.

He’s Taylor Swift for men. You can’t argue with Swifties about their hero, it is a lifestyle brand, not a political position.

Is that some kind of an argument, or just an ad-hominem criticism of people who don’t agree with you? No need to answer. It’s a rhetorical question.

"So on balance, sorry, DeSantis is morally superior."

LOL, sure he is. He told Florida voters he would serve out his second term if they re-elected him. That was his lying moral side. Then six months later, he forgot what he'd promised them. And the fact that he got the State Legislature to change the law so he didn't have to resign to run for President, tells me he didn't believe he would actually be successful in a Presidential run. He had to have a back-up plan in place. He didn't have the morals to honor the existing law, but instead, manipulated the law, to make sure he'd have a job to go back to when he crashed and burned. A moral person doesn't have to manipulate the laws to suit their needs. He was elected to serve the people of the State of Florida, not to serve himself.

Keep picking on 1 single issue.

It’s like the one-issue voter.

No Republican candidate can win the Popular Vote.

Non-white voters and foreign born voters have not changed in 40 years.

Reagan - 1984 - Black Voters - 9%

Trump - 2020 - Black Voters - 12%

Reagan - 1984 - Hispanic Voters - 34%

Trump - 2020 - Hispanic Voters - 32%

We never stop learning.

Trump needs to pick his advisors more diligently in 2025 than he did in his first term.

Is a defense to liberals? IMO if your heart ain’t in it just remain silent. But it’s a free country I guess. At least conservative will assault you like Democrats do for speaking out

...He’s not worthy of worship or a second term really. He’s better than Biden, but if he wins I don’t expect him to stop the deep state anymore than he did illegals....

Point 1: He's the only person who is going to try.

Point 2: He did a pretty good job of stopping the illegals on his watch.

The fury and desperation of his (and my) enemies in stopping him is the only proof I need that's he should be reelected to the office which was stolen in 2020.

Republicans have not been getting much more than 10% in Washington, DC for decades. Trump definitely did not.

Maybe I should have taped it as you did to get another assessment. My initial reaction was total chaos especially when Newsom disregarded questions posed to him. Tell me, did he answer any lol?
