Sigh.

You people insist on how hugely popular Trump is, then when he failed to win a pop vote, you finally realize the electoral is how it works and sputter about that. You talk endlessly that Trump must be the most popular guy in history, but don’t like when it’s pointed out that he did not win the pop in 16.

That is the point.

He is NOT truly fraud-proof popular enough to guarantee any win, even if there was no fraud.

You all treat it like it’s a slam dunk, and cite all these polls that are nationwide (mostly primary) rather than more meaningful to reflect the reality of electoral system.

You will fail if you refuse to see reality, that Trump is only a cult phenomenon with some conservatives, and does not curry advantage for the general. Some conservatives kiss his butt, but all Dems hate him (hint: it’s not because he’s a super conservative). The overwhelming motivation of the latter will bring him down.

Who cares? The popular vote is meaningless.

Are you dense? What part of, Trump won the popular vote in 2016 by a million votes if you take California out of the equation, don’t you understand? As far as 2020 goes, you have to be willfully blind to believe that Biden legitimately got 81 million votes - 15 million more than Hillary got in 2016, and that Obama got in 2012.

>>”You all treat it like it’s a slam dunk, and cite all these polls that are nationwide (mostly primary) rather than more meaningful to reflect the reality of electoral system.”

Now you’re just throwing out strawman arguments. Nobody around here is claiming it’s a slam dunk, when you take fraud into account. Our point isn’t that Trump is guaranteed to overcome the fraud, just that he’s the GOP candidate who’s most likely to be able to do so. Do you think fraud will just go away if the Republicans nominate DeSantis? If you do, you’re not thinking clearly.

And as far as Trump alienating people, who are you talking about? Republicans? Any Republican, except for the most die-hard Trump haters like yourself, will vote for Trump in the general election, warts and all. If you’re talking about Democrats and Independents, you’re dreaming if you think they’re more likely to vote for a DeSantis or a Haley, than Trump.

Your analysis doesn’t hold water. And you can try to minimize the fraud from 2020, all you want, but that won’t be because you’ve looked at the evidence. The evidence for wide-scale fraud, in the swing states in particular, is copious. I’ve shared it here many times, from Biden’s loss of 18 out of 19 bellwether counties, to the hundreds of sworn affidavits from election workers and observers testifying to the blatant fraud they witnessed, to the video evidence exposed in 2000 mules and in Fulton county arena on election night, to vote reporting anomalies that can’t be rationally explained, to vote switching actually being broadcast on live TV. And I’ve just scratched the surface.

You’ve demonstrated time and again, that you’re not interested in having a serious, objective discussion on the topic. Maybe you’re not capable.

He’s Taylor Swift for men. You can’t argue with Swifties about their hero, it is a lifestyle brand, not a political position.
