It is not any more complicated then that.
It is because they vaguely feel that they do not deserve what they have. And frankly most of them do not. Those who have some inclination toward decency will do things like start soup kitchens, knit blankets for children who are in foster care or give money to animal shelters. The rest of them will find actually doing good is WAY to much work. And so they do things like support Hamas because it, in their low IQ minds, supporting the violent makes you a good person?
Don't ask me. I find them stupid beyond belief.
