President Joe Biden has been humiliated after bragging about reducing the prices of gas, groceries, and airline flights in a speech on Monday.
Republicans were quick to refute Biden's claim, taking to social media platform X to call him out for misinformation. The Republican National Committee wrote: "'FACT: Since Biden took office, airfare is up 21 percent, Thanksgiving dinner was up 25 percent, and gas prices are $0.86/gallon higher."
This has proven to be yet another instance of Biden struggling to prove and garner support for his administration's economic policies and plans, something that is especially important in the run-up to the 2024 election campaign.
While it is true that inflation has slowed and prices of some things have dropped in price since last year, the cost of most things are still higher than they were before the pandemic.

joementia deals in ‘truth’, and ‘facts’ don’t matter. Just ask him.
MSN put this out? Winding up to get rid of him?
You have to be self aware to be humiliated. Chou Bhi Dung makes eggplants seem self aware
I hear known Democrats complaining about the price of groceries now. In fact, they even admit that nearly everything has gone up in price. Dolts. This is what they voted for.
Then Diaper Joe blames businesses for the high prices as “gouging”
Sure he is.
Humiliation would be the House saying "no more". Better yet, the American people.
I was suprised to see that this was on MSN too. I did not click to verify it, although I was slightly tempted.
The Biden propaganda staff are partially correct though. Some prices have come down in recent months, like gas prices. If they want to take credit it for it, fine. But that also means that they need to own everything else that has happened under their watch
Trained by that student of the Father of Lies, Obama. Back in those happy times, the administration lied about everything all the time. The tongue bath media covered up all foibles, and nothing too horrible occurred on this watch. Now, the Obama retreads are trying the same play. However, unlike their previous (supposedly) smooth front man, they have a drooling dementia patient, and, this time around, the failures they refuse to admit are having disastrous results
He’d be humiliated if he was able to be. He is 100% a puppet that only does what his handlers (team Obama) tell him to do.
I mean you can always manipulate statistics. You can probably find economic data that shows in 1893 it took the equivalent of 3 hours labor to buy a turkey, and now it only takes 2.5 hours (or some such). I don’t know if that is what they are trying to do, but they can’t believe anybody is really swallowing that. People KNOW that in their own personal experiences, the cost of living has gone straight up. Only a pointy headed bureaucrat would write that in a speech for the president to deliver.
You cannot ‘humiliate’ someone who has no shame.................
I can’t believe MSN reported this.
the chocolate ration has been increased to 20 grams
You have to have a soul, values, and a conscience to be humiliated. No Biden has any of those.
EVERYONE is bragging about how high the shopping totals were on Black Friday.
IMO—THE only reason the total $$$$$$ were higher is that even if exactly the same items were purchased-—everything cost more...
Leading to ANOTHER FALSE CONCLUSION.
People on food assistance got 12.3 % increase on OCT 1st.
Soc Sec is only going up 3%.
NONE of that MATCHES REALITY
I can't go to town for less than $100 to $200 anymore. Diesel and cat food today were $136 and that was for 10 gallons of diesel. I dropped another $308 at the lumber yard for 4 packages of insulation, sheet rock screws and cable lube. Oh, and $10 to wash the truck for the first time in months. Total, $454. Typical these days.
Sniffer humiliated, he does not know the meaning of the word.
Average gas prices were $2.26 when Biden took office. While Biden's been in office, average gas price peaked in 2022 at $4.06. The average current gas price is $3.47.
The bottom line: To say gas prices have come down begs the question, 'come down from what'? Gas prices remain highly inflated compared to Jan 2020 prices - when Trump left office.
